Hawthorne Heights is a Dayton, Ohio-based American rock band that established in 2001. JT Woodruff is the main singer and rhythm guitarist, Micah Carli is the lead guitarist and vocalist, Matt Ridenour is the bassist and backing vocalist, and Eron Bucciarelli is the drummer.
Casey Calvert, the band's guitarist and frontman, died of natural causes on November 24, 2007, leaving the band as a four-piece. Since changing their name to Hawthorne Heights, the band, formerly known as A Day in the Life, has produced three studio albums on Victory Records.
