Since turning out to be dean in 2013, Dr. Anderson has proceeded and reinforced the college's solid collaboration with the School District of Philadelphia and encompassing districts. Anderson has progressed the school's noticeable quality as a public focus of greatness in research and teaching. This is reflected in the 2018 U.S. News and World Report Best Graduate Schools of Education positioning in which the school is positioned 48th. In 2009, Dr. Anderson was named senior member of Denver's Morgridge College of Education.
