Glenn Eric Singleton is a native of Baltimore, Maryland. Singleton attended public elementary and independent secondary schools before earning his bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania and his master's degree from Stanford University's Graduate School of Education. Singleton's career began as an Ivy League admissions director. He created Pacific Educational Group, Inc.
(PEG) in 1992 to assist families with transitions within and between K–12 and higher education. His organization evolved quickly into a vehicle for tackling systemic educational injustice by offering a framework, advice, and assistance to K–12 systems and institutions of higher education focused on fulfilling the needs of underserved children of color. He is presently the company's president and CEO.
