MacroCognition LLC's Gary Klein, Ph.D., is a Senior Scientist. In 1969, Dr. Klein earned his Ph.D. in experimental psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. He began his academic career as an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Oakland University (1970-1974). The second stage was working for the government as a research psychologist for the United States Air Force (1974-1978).
The third phase began in 1978, when he established his own R&D firm, Klein Associates, which expanded to 37 employees by the time it was purchased by Applied Research Associates (ARA) in 2005. Dr.
