Fr. Richard Rohr is a widely known ecumenical teacher who bears testimony to the worldwide awakening that is taking place within Christian mysticism and the Perennial Tradition. He is a New Mexico Province Franciscan priest and the creator of the Center for Action and Contemplation (CAC) in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Fr.
Richard's teaching is based on Franciscan alternative orthodoxy—practices of contemplation and self-emptying that manifest in profound compassion, especially for the socially vulnerable. Fr. Richard has written a number of works, including Everything Belongs, Adam's Return, The Naked Now, Breathing Under Water, Falling Upward, Immortal Diamond, and Eager to Love: Francis of Assisi's Alternative Way.
