Evan Goldberg was born in Vancouver British Columbia in 1982 where he attended the Point Grey Secondary School before going on to McGill University. Upon graduation he went to work as a writer on the American television version of Sasha Baron Cohen's Ali G character along with his old childhood friend actor-writer Seth Rogen.
The pair has consequently collaborated on several movies starting with the comedy Superbad which they first conceived as teenagers.
