Elaine Allison is the owner and creator of Positive Presentations Plus Inc. (founded in 1999) and the author of The Velvet Hammer, PowHERful Leadership Lessons for Women Who Don't Golf. Her energetic lectures and amiable attitude have fascinated audiences from coast to coast in the United States and Canada, as well as across the world. Early in her career, Elaine began polishing her understanding of the distinctions between how we work, lead, and succeed. She was one of Canada's first female prison guards at an all-male maximum security jail when she was just 19 years old.
