Edward Miller Biography

As a research product manager at Facebook, a position he has held since January 2020, Edward Miller works on building the future of 3D maps. Miller served as CEO and co-founded of Scape Technologies before moving to Facebook. Scape Technologies was ultimately acquired by Facebook. Edward produced Hong Kong Unrest, the first 360-degree news documentary designed for virtual reality, which covered the Hong Kong pro-democracy protests in 2014. Edward also co-founded Medical Realities, a new startup based on medical training in virtual reality in 2015. Before founding Scape Technologies, Miller was an independent VR & Interactive Imagery Specialist, creating Virtual & Augmented Reality content for clients such as BBC, UEFA, NHS, Royal Shakespeare Company, Vogue, ESPN, NBC Universal, Press Association, and the Daily Mail. From the University of Sheffield, Miller holds bachelor's degrees in psychology and philosophy.
