Recognized for his musical talent as well as his reality star status on MTVs highest rated show Jersey Shore, which premiered in December 2009, DJ Pauly D was born in Providence, Rhode Island.</br>The first cast member to receive their own spinoff show, which chronicled his life as a celebrity DJ, aired in 2012, as Pauly quickly became a fan favorite. </br>To release new material showcasing Pauly’s true craft, in December of 2011, the rapper and mogul 50 Cent signed Pauly to his record label G-Note Records. Developing a full line of headphones, it was announced in January of 2012 that Pauly will be working together with 50 Cent and SMS Audio. </br> After being nominated for the second year in a row, on August 7th, 2011, Pauly won Choice TV: Male Reality/Variety Star at the Teen Choice Awards.</br>Voted the #8 Best DJ in America in 2010 and nominated again in 2011, Pauly received more recognition. Pauly was also named one of VIBE Magazines Top 6 DJs Who Rocked in 2011. Pauly’s notoriety did not come overnight. At the age of 16, Pauly started as a DJ, long before his fame on Jersey Shore. Yet, that is where his passion remains.
