His acting journey began with small roles on TV series like “Falcon Crest” (CBS, 1981-1990), “Kate & Allie” (CBS, 1984-89) and “Beauty and the Beast” (CBS, 1987-90).
He starred in other successful movies in the following decade such as “Volcano” (1997) and “To Wong Foo Thanks For Everything, Julie Newmar” (1995). With major appearances in “NYPD Blue”(ABC, 1993-2005), a recurring role in “Roswell” (The WB/UPN, 1999-2002) and “Seinfeld” (NBC, 1989-1997). Callie's highest role till date is playing Wild Bill Hickok's associate Charlie Utter in “Deadwood” (HBO, 2004-06).
