At Stanford Graduate School of Business, Darrell Duffie is the Adams Distinguished Professor of Management and Professor of Finance. He is a fellow of the Econometric Society and a member of its Council, as well as a research fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research and an American Academy of Arts and Sciences fellow.
Duffie served as the American Finance Association's president in 2009. He headed the Market Participants Group in 2014, which was tasked by the Financial Stability Board with recommending Libor, Euribor, and other interest rate benchmark changes.
