Daniel Lurie is founder and CEO of Tipping Point Community. Since its inception in 2005 Tipping Point has raised more than $30 million to educate employ house and support nearly 150000 people in need in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Lurie’s experience working for the Robin Hood Foundation in New York City a job he started the week before September 11 2001 led to Lurie adapting Robin Hood’s model to his home community in California. Prior to Robin Hood he worked for Bill Bradley’s 2000 presidential campaign.
