Curt Warner is a former running back in the National Football League. Warner was a two-time All-American at Penn State University and was selected in the first round of the 1983 NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks. On December 8, 2009, Warner was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.
In his debut NFL season, Warner was named the AFC Offensive Player of the Year. The Seattle Seahawks selected Warner in the first round (#3 overall) in the 1983 NFL Draft. In his first season, he led the AFC in running yards, propelling his club to reach their first Conference Championship game, which they lost to the Los Angeles Raiders.
