Christopher Froome is a British bicyclist who presently competes with the UCI WorldTeam Team Ineos. He has won a number of stage events, including four Tour de France editions (in 2013, 2015, 2016, and 2017), the Giro d'Italia in 2018, and the Vuelta an Espana in 2017.
In 2012 and 2016, Froome earned two Olympic bronze medals in road time trials, as well as bronze at the 2017 World Championships. Froome began his road cycling career as a youngster when he relocated to South Africa for education.
