Charlie White Biography

Charlie White is an ice dancer from the United States. He is the 2014 Olympic Champion, a two-time World champion (2011, 2013), the 2010 Olympic silver medalist, a two-time World silver medalist (2010, 2012), a five-time Grand Prix Final champion (2009–2013), a three-time Four Continents champion (2009, 2011, 2013), and a six-time U.S. national champion (2009–2014). At the 2014 Winter Olympics, they also earned a bronze medal in the team event. Davis and White formed their dance partnership in 1997 and are presently the longest-running in the United States. They are the first American ice dancers to win the World Championships, as well as the first Americans to earn an Olympic medal. They became the first ice dance team to earn level fours on all of their components at the 2006 NHK Trophy. Davis and White now hold the world records for the short dance, free dance, and total combined score.
