Brian Malarkey is the executive chef and partner of five wildly successful restaurants in San Diego: Searsucker, Burlap, Gingham, Gabardine and Herringbone. Each has opened to rave reviews, including Searsucker being named the countrys #2 hottest restaurant by Time Magazine. Next up is a national expansion of 15 restaurants over five years.
Before opening his first restaurant, Brian gained national recognition as a finalist on Bravos Top Chef Miami. He has since hosted several TLC specials, made TV guest appearances, entertained audiences on the Today Show, at Food & Wine Festivals across the U.S., and at the Super Bowl, Kentucky Derby and Sundance Film Festival.
