Brendan Hunt is an actor and writer who co-created the hugely popular TV sitcom Ted Lasso, winning several awards along the way, including an Emmy, a Peabody, a Writers Guild Award, and others. Brendan plays Coach Beard on the program as well. Other media appearances include Horrible Bosses 2, Community, Parks and Recreation, Key and Peele, and Parks and Recreation.
Brendan, a native of Chicago and a seasoned performer of sketch and improv comedy, spent most of his time with the infamous Boom Chicago of Amsterdam, where he shared the stage with Jason Sudeikis, Seth Meyers, and Jordan Peele, Amber Ruffin, and many more. He developed a soccer fixation at this time, which would change the course of his life.
