Bhawna Provenzano is the Director of Employee Benefits and Diversity at Zappos, which she joined in 2010. She/her is her chosen pronoun. She's been spearheading the revamp of Zappos' perks and wellness programs since 2010, channeling her enthusiasm for employee health and wellbeing. The company's first 24/7 fitness center with on-site courses, an in-house holistic health program, increased maternity and parental leave, and other rotating perks like on-site counseling, massage, and chiropractor are just a few of the atypical advantages she has adopted. She recently assisted in the redevelopment of the company's diversity & inclusion efforts. Bhawna worked in Benefits/HR at Station Casinos and Nordstrom prior to joining Zappos. She graduated from Oakland University in Michigan and went on to Penn State University for her master's degree in human resources. She is originally from the Detroit Metro region. When she's not working, she can be seen in the stands at her daughter's softball games, chasing after her two little sons and asking her teenage son to put down the phone. When the kids have outgrown the stage of putting everything in their mouths, she'll start going internationally again.
