Afton Vechery is Co-founder and CEO at Modern Fertility. Prior to this she was product manager at 23andMe and worked for WillowPump as strategy and finance consultant.
Modern Fertility launched in early 2017 and has raised $1 million in venture funding to help women understand their fertility earlier in life particularly given that women are waiting longer to have children. The startup says it takes the same lab tests offered by fertility clinics and makes them more affordable and easier to understand and track over time. Modern Fertility is Afton Vechery’s fourth startup while Carly Leahy most recently worked at Uber where she led creative strategy for products such as UberEats and UberHealth.
