Following many years of working in campaigns, including those of Rep. Jeff Fortenberry (R-NE), Adrienne Schweer first visited Washington, D.C., to work for then Sen. Chuck Hagel. Schweer joined The ONE Campaign, a non-profit organization founded by Rock Star, Bono after many years of service on Capitol Hill.
At ONE Campaign, she led advocacy and partnership strategy in support of African development, including child and maternal health. Schweer served as chief of protocol to Defense Secretaries Jim Mattis, Ashton Carter, and Chuck Hagel in the Pentagon from 2014 to 2017.
