Zuriel Oduwole is a Nigerian-American filmmaker, education advocate, and public speaker, recognized as one of the youngest professional filmmakers globally. Born in 2002, she began making films at age nine, focusing on African history and empowerment. Her documentary “A Promising Africa” (2013) gained international acclaim, screening in multiple countries.
Oduwole’s advocacy centers on girls’ education in Africa, earning her audiences with over 30 world leaders, including presidents and prime ministers. She founded the Dream Up, Speak Up, Stand Up initiative to promote educational access. Named in Forbes' "100 Most Powerful African Women" at age 10, she's a trailblazer in youth activism.
