Yoshito Hori founded Globis Capital Partners in 1996 and currently serves as both managing partner and president of Globis University. The Globis Management School was established by Hori in 1992, and its M.B.A. curriculum received accreditation in 2006. In 2012, a full-time English M.B.A. program was launched.

Hori, a former employee of Sumitomo Corp., established the Japanese branch of the Entrepreneurs' Organization and served as the first board member from Asia to hold the position of Asia Pacific vice president.
