Yigit Pura began his culinary education at the age of four in Ankara, Turkey, while assisting his mother in making dark caramel spoonfuls. His formal culinary training began when he was 20 years old in San Francisco, where he worked in some of the best kitchens in the city.
He subsequently relocated to New York City, where he worked at Le Cirque in 2000 before moving to The Four Seasons Hotel. Yigit subsequently got his "golden step" as the Pastry Sous Chef at Daniel, working under Chef Daniel Boulud, where he was elevated to Executive Pastry for Daniel Boulud in Las Vegas after two and a half years.
