Witney Carson began dancing when she was just three years old. She has performed and competed all around the globe. Witney's talents as a dancer have earned her a number of honors and scholarships. On the popular American television competition So You Think You Can Dance, Witney placed top 6 (top 3 girls) at the age of 18. In light of So You Think You Can Dance Witney joined the Dancing with the Stars Pro Troupe Team on ABC, where she participated in every episode of Season 16 and created the choreography. In season 18, she was elevated to professional partner. She and her partner, Alfonso Ribeiro, were named the winners of season 19 on November 25, 2014, making her one of just six professional dancers to do so in their first two seasons of competition. She was nominated for the Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Choreography for that season.
