Professor of Epidemiology and Nutrition at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, Walter C. Willett, M.D., Dr. P.H. Dr. Willett studied food science at Michigan State University before attending the University of Michigan Medical School and earning a Masters and Doctorate in Public Health from the Harvard T.H.
Chan School of Public Health. Dr. Willett has spent the last 40 years developing and evaluating methodologies for studying the impact of food on the incidence of various illnesses, utilizing both questionnaire and biochemical approaches. He began using these approaches in the Nurses' Health Studies I and II, as well as the Health Professionals Follow-up Study, in 1980.
