Vikram Pandit Biography

Mr. Vikram S. Pandit is one of Portman Square Capital LLP's co-founders. Since December 11, 2007, Mr. Pandit has been the Chief Executive Officer of Citigroup Finance Canada Inc. From December 11, 2007, to October 16, 2012, he was the Chief Executive Officer and Principal Financial Officer of Citigroup, Inc. He was the Chief Executive Officer of Citigroup, Inc.'s Europe, Middle East, and Africa division. He was the Chief Executive Officer of Citibank, National Association throughout his time there. He worked at Credit Suisse Group AG as an Executive Officer. Old Lane, LP was co-founded by him. At Citigroup Alternative Investments LLC, he was Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, and Head of Alternative Investments. At Citigroup, Inc., he was the Head of Institutional Clients Group and Investment Banking Business. From September 2000 until March 30, 2005, he was the Chief Operating Officer of Morgan Stanley's Institutional Securities division. From December 2003 until March 30, 2005, he was the President of Morgan Stanley's Institutional Securities division. Since September 2000, he has worked as Morgan Stanley's Co-President of Institutional Securities. In 1983, Mr. Pandit started his career as an associate at Morgan Stanley. Since 2014, he has served as an Independent Director of Bombardier Inc. He is a member of the Institute Of International Finance, Inc.'s board of directors. He is a member of Columbia University's Board of Trustees. He is a member of Columbia Business School's Board of Overseers. He is a member of the Governing Board of the Indian School of Business and a Trustee at Columbia University. He was a member of The Nasdaq OMX Group, Inc.'s Board of Directors. Since July 2010, he has been the Director of Citi Markets & Banking's Institutional Clients Group. From December 2007 until October 2012, he was a Director of Citigroup, Inc. Since 2007, he has been a Director at Citigroup Finance Canada Inc. He is a member of the Reserve Bank of India's Committee on Comprehensive Financial Services for Small Businesses and Low-Income Households. Mr. Pandit graduated from Columbia University with a Ph.D. in Finance in 1986. He graduated from Columbia University with a master's degree in electrical engineering in 1977 and a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering in 1976.
