Victor Lemonte Wooten is an exceptional individual. He was the youngest of five young men when he was born, and at the age of two, he began learning how to play music. At age five, he started playing bass in the family band and acting in dance clubs and theatres.
At age six, he visited his siblings and opened gigs for the legendary soul musician Curtis Mayfield. Before graduation from high school, he and his siblings had taught the technique to artists including Stephanie Mills War Ramsey Lewis Frankie Beverly and Maze Dexter Wansel, and The Temptations, not long after he became affectionately known as the 8-year-old Bass Ace.
