The All-American Rejects' main vocalist and bassist, Tyson Ritter, is an American singer-songwriter who also occasionally works as a model and actor. Ritter was reared in Stillwater, Oklahoma, where he was born. Tracey Rains, his mother, works for Stillwater Public Schools. He has a younger sister named Bailey and an elder brother named Zach who works as a dentist.
They were all Stillwater High School graduates. While bouncing at a party in middle school, he met his bandmates. The All-American Rejects were signed by Doghouse Records when Jesse Tabish left the group and with the addition of Mike Kennerty and Chris Gaylor, as well as subsequent big labels DreamWorks Records and Interscope Records.
