Tyne Stecklein Biography

Since she was 3 years old, Tyne Stecklein has been dancing at Miller's. There, she got the chance to practice with several instructors and discover a variety of dance forms. She has had considerable dance training in both New York and Los Angeles, and in 2002, as a member of the LADF Dance Ensemble, she was showcased at the Edge Performing Arts Summer Showcase. She has performed in several shows at Miller's and has had the privilege of playing many leading roles in recital programs and complete ballets. She has given performances on Royal Caribbean and Disney Magic cruise ships, respectively. For nine years, Tyne danced competitively for Tour de Force. She has received various accolades, first-place prizes, and national titles. She worked as an assistant teacher for the L.A. Dance Magic Conventions during their national touring season when she was 17 years old. She was selected as an apprentice dancer for Mark Meisner's Evolution Dance Company and Justin Giles' Soul Escape Dance Company, respectively. She was also recognized as a Company Dance Convention Hall of Fame Dancer. Tyne moved to Los Angeles after finishing high school in order to pursue a professional dancing career. She was chosen as a dancer for both the South American tour and the national High School Musical concert tour during her first year there. She performed as a dancer in the films Step Brothers (2008) with Will Ferrell, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008) with Brad Pitt, and High School Musical 2 (2007).
