Tuffy Stone is a former Marine, a world-record-breaking pitmaster, a classically-trained cook, and a businessman. After establishing A Sharper Palate with his wife Leslie Tuffy, one of the most successful special events firms in the mid-Atlantic, Tuffy sought to rediscover his passion for food and set out to master a whole different cuisine.
With back-to-back victories at the American Royal World Series of Barbecue Grand Champion at the 2015 Kingsford Invitational and his historic run at the Jack Daniel's World Championship Invitational, he has won Grand Champion titles in almost every significant barbecue tournament.
