Todrick Hall has built a powerful entertainment career through his work in Broadway productions and television shows and music creation and choreography and digital media content. His appearance as a semifinalist on American Idol Season 9 in 2010 led him to establish himself as a YouTube sensation. His YouTube channel achieved 3.6 million subscribers and 900 million views through his creative mash-ups and original music videos and viral flash mobs by 2022.
Hall established himself as a Broadway performer through his roles in The Color Purple and Memphis and Kinky Boots and Chicago and Waitress before moving to the West End for performances in Chicago and Shrek the Musical. The MTV network broadcast his own documentary series Todrick (2015) while he expanded his influence through his work as a judge and choreographer on RuPaul’s Drag Race and The Greatest Dancer.
