American rock group, The Nude Party, was founded in 2012 at Appalachian State University. The band consisted of stepsiblings and childhood buddies who decided to be a band and THEN learned to play instruments. The sextet ultimately relocated to a lake cottage where they played every night.
They became the house band at a bar in Boone, where they performed nude, earning them their name (although they no longer perform naked). Hot Tub, their debut EP, was released in 2016. The Nude Party, their first full-length album, was released in 2018 by New West Records.
