Imagine two opposing factions—one good and the other evil—fighting in an epic dance war. Welcome to The LXD, a brand-new online experience where heroes and villains use dance-based superpowers to battle one another.

With exquisite choreography, dancers perform breathtaking aerial movements and transcendental step sequences that make them seem to hover above the earth like marionettes or to shatter the laws of physics beneath their feet. The show aims to go beyond parroting the dance-battle trend that dominates today's TV ratings.

The LXD has dancing superheroes on both sides of the screen in addition to live performances; spectators can pick up dance routines from tutorial videos and even become involved in the plot by joining the online community.

Jon Chu, a veteran of dance productions including the box office hit Step Up 2: The Streets and the Internet blockbuster The Biggest Online Dance Battle wrote and directed The LXD.
