Alison Mosshart (VV), an American vocalist, and Jamie Hince, a British guitarist, founded the indie rock group The Kills (Hotel). Keep On Your Mean Side, No Wow, and Midnight Boom, two of their first three albums, has received high ratings from critics.
Their fourth and most current studio album, Blood Pressures, was released on April 4, 2011, in all countries and in the US on April 5, 2011. Discount, a Florida-based punk rock band, was Mosshart's prior band, and Fiji Scarfo and Blyth Power were Hince's former bands.
