Dr. Wu's business endeavor began when he was studying hard to become a neurosurgeon at a premier medical school in China. After witnessing the 1989 Tiananmen Square Massacre in Beijing, his plans abruptly changed. In 1990, he escaped to America from China. After receiving a Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University and a Master's degree from Duke University, he decided to pursue a career in neuroscience. He has more than 30 years of experience working in neuroscience. He founded one of the first two Minnesota web-based showcasing companies with experience in site optimization in 2003. He and his team have used neuroscientific-inspired marketing strategies at his company to help clients quadruple or triple their starting points. Research in social psychology, behavioral economics, and neuroscience over the last 20 years has revealed fresh insights into how the brain makes purchase decisions. This resulted in Neuromarketing. With his extensive knowledge and participation in neuroscience and promotion, Dr. Wu immediately became a leader in this new sector. Through open communication, he has been enlightening the business networks about the severity of Neuromarketing. Dr. Wu is anticipated to be one of seven presenters at a TEDx event on May 18 in Blaine, Minnesota.
