Bluegrass musician Tate Stevens secured a $5 million recording contract with Syco Music and RCA Records Nashville after winning season two of The X Factor in 2012. Stevens returned to Missouri to settle down and raise his small family while working for the city of Belton repairing streets after spending considerable time touring with a band after finishing secondary school.
He joined a local bar in 2005 and formed his group in 2008, performing for no charge and showing up on weekends and public holidays. Stevens relocated to Nashville, Tennessee, after winning The X Factor, where he began working on his presenting portfolio.
