In 1990, Susan began practicing yoga at the White Lotus Foundation in Santa Barbara, California. She sought relief from 10 years of back pain and was introduced to yoga. She was so impressed with the results that she became a yoga instructor within two years to spread the benefits of the practice—mostly instructing students and seniors.
