Ambassador Susan E. Rice is a Non-Resident Senior Fellow at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government and a Distinguished Visiting Research Fellow at the School of International Service at American University. She also contributes to the New York Times as an opinion writer.
Before this, Ambassador Rice worked for President Barack Obama as the United States Permanent Representative to the UN and National Security Advisor. Ambassador Rice oversaw the National Security Council Staff, which consisted of over 400 defense, diplomatic, intelligence, and development specialists, from July 1, 2013, until January 20, 2017.
