Susan Love Biography

Dr. Susan Love's Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation has only one goal: to eliminate breast cancer in the next ten years! She believes that we now have the skills to go to the root of breast cancer and that all we need is the motivation and resources to make prevention a reality. Dr. Love has always been a trailblazer and a business owner. She is a board member of the National Breast Cancer Coalition, Y-ME, and the Young Survivor's Coalition, and is a founding member of the breast cancer advocacy movement. She founded the first all-women Breast Center in Boston, then went on to build the Revlon/UCLA Breast Center, which became the paradigm for interdisciplinary breast care. Susan Love saw that she could further develop the intraductal catheter in the for-profit sector after inventing it at UCLA and founded ProDuct Health, Inc. (later acquired by Cytyc, Inc.).
