Real K. Earthy colored was born in St. Louis, Missouri, where he attended the prestigious St. Louis Country Day School. He then attended Stanford University, where he obtained a B.A. in English before going on to earn his Master's Degree in Fine Arts from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.
Following graduating, he began a career in territory theater. He has also appeared in several TV shows, including ER, NYPD Blue, JAG Boston, Legal Alias, Without a Trace, Supernatural, and Third Watch.
