Stephanie Wilson is a NASA astronaut and architect. She was the second African-American woman in space and has put the greatest effort towards space of any African-American. She is now the Mission Support Crew Branch Chief for the Astronaut Office.
Wilson graduated from Taconic High School in Pittsfield, Massachusetts in 1984, earned a four-year education in science certificate in Engineering Science from Harvard University in 1988, and a master's degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Texas in 1992. Her study focused on control and displaying massive adaptive space structures.
