Stacey Childress is the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation's Deputy Director of Education. She leads the Next Generation Models team, which is responsible for the development and dissemination of technology-enabled content tools and learning models that promote tailored pathways to success for middle and high school students in the United States.
Stacey was on the faculty of Harvard Business School before joining the foundation, where she authored and taught about entrepreneurial activity in public education in the United States. Her studies includes the behavior and methods of leadership teams in urban public school districts charter schools and charity and for-profit organizations with objectives to better the public system.
