Erin, Anne Annie Clark, best known as St. Vincent, is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. She began her musical career with The Polyphonic Spree and later joined Sufjan Stevens' touring band before founding her own band in 2006. Clark presently resides in Manhattan's financial district. St.
Vincent's music has consistently gained recognition for its particular musical style, which combines soft rock jazz and cabaret elements. Marry Me (2007) was her debut album, followed by Actor (2009) and Strange Mercy (2010). (2011). In 2012, she released Love This Giant, a joint album with David Byrne. Clark also sang background vocals on Swans' 2014 album To Be Kind.
