She enjoys being a Bible teacher because she enjoys making God's Word practical and sharing her personal experience of how God met her at her lowest moment and raised her up again. GOD IS FOR YOU, she says. Sheila also enjoys writing "in fact, she likes to write every day" and has sold over five million books. She is also the co-host of the television show Life Today, which airs in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Australia. Her favorite way to spend a day is to support missions work via the Life Today ministry, which works across the world to feed the hungry, provide water to the thirsty, treat the ill, and rescue boys and girls from sex slavery. She recently visited Africa, the Dominican Republic, and Southeast Asia. Sheila lives in Dallas with her husband Barry, son Christian, and three little dogs named Belle, Tink, and Maggie.
