She created the NYCRS hedge fund portfolio and oversaw the investment of $3.5 billion in direct hedge fund investments across strategies and regions in three years, out of a $4.5 billion board-approved allocation. Hingorani worked as the global director of Fundamental Research at Pyramis Global Advisors; as a general partner, portfolio manager, and senior equity analyst at hedge fund Andor Capital Management; as a general partner and senior equity analyst at hedge fund Pequot Capital Management; as a co-founder of hedge fund Mirador Capital Management; and as a general partner and senior equity analyst at hedge fund Pequot Capital Management.

Ms. Hingorani is the founder and head of Girls Who Invest, a nonprofit organization devoted to changing the asset management business by increasing the number of women in positions of leadership and portfolio management.

She was named the Connecticut Women's Business Development Council's 2016 Woman of Impact, Traders magazine's 2015 Wall Street Women Entrepreneur of the Year, and MarketsMedia's 2015 Women in Finance Achievement award for her work with Girls Who Invest. Ms. Hingorani is a member of the New York Economic Club and 100 Women in Finance. Ms.

Hingorani earned a BA in psychology/philosophy from Yale College and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School.
