Before joining Innosight, Scott worked as a senior expert for Clayton Christensen, managing a group that aimed to support Christensen's advanced research. Before that, he was a consultant for McKinsey & Co., a key organizer for Aspen Technology, and an item chief for WorldSpace Corporation. He co-authored a study on the financial prospects for the United Kingdom when he was still at McKinsey. Scott graduated from Dartmouth College with a BA in financial concerns summa cum laude and from Harvard Management School, where he was a Baker Scholar, with an MBA with high distinction.
