American computer scientist Scott Aaronson teaches computer science at the University of Texas at Austin as the David J. Bruton Jr. Centennial Professor of Computer Science. His research focuses on the computational intricacy hypothesis and quantum registering. Aaronson is well-known for his piece Who Can Identify The Larger Number and his site Shtetl-Optimize.
The study was widely disseminated in scholarly publications for software engineering, and Aaronson's work has also appeared in Forbes, Science News, New Scientist, and The New York Times. He attended Cornell University before obtaining his doctorate at the University of California, Berkeley.
