With their awful sound and loud guitars, the four-piece post-punk Savages evaluate London's troublemaker heyday's tenacity and more extraordinary aesthetic advancements. They formed at the end of 2011 and are from the English city of London.
Guitarist Gemma Thompson and singer Camille Berthomier, also known as Jehnny Beth, had put off deciding on a name and starting a band until they ultimately agreed on Savages and began writing songs. Ayse Hassan joined on bass shortly after, while Fay Milton completed the drum configuration.
