Actor Sam Heughan is well-known for his prominent appearances in the Starz TV series Outlander (2014–2021), A Princess for Christmas (2011), and A Very British Sex Scandal (2007). In addition, Heughan has continued to star in movies and television shows, including Bloodshot, SAS: Red Notice, and The Spy Who Dumped Me (2020).
He graduated from Glasgow, Scotland's Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, now known as the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. He is also the president of Bloodwise Scotland and a passionate supporter of Youth Theatre Arts Scotland and Bloodwise (formerly Leukemia and Lymphoma Research) (2015).
