Sam Haskell grew up in Mississippi and was simply a regular man. He had no idea that he would go on to become a renowned producer and director of some of television's top primetime series. Mary Nell Kirkpatrick Haskell, his mother, was born in Amory, Mississippi in 1955.
He graduated from Amory High School and then went on to The University of Mississippi to complete his education. Mary Donelly Haskell, the former Miss Mississippi in 1977, is his wife. He works with the William Morris Agency as a Vice President. Sam Haskell is a well-known figure in Hollywood.
