Sam Haskell grew up in Mississippi and was simply a regular man. He had no idea that he would go on to become a renowned producer and director of some of television's top primetime series. Mary Nell Kirkpatrick Haskell, his mother, was born in Amory, Mississippi in 1955. He graduated from Amory High School and then went on to The University of Mississippi to complete his education. Mary Donelly Haskell, the former Miss Mississippi in 1977, is his wife. He works with the William Morris Agency as a Vice President. Sam Haskell is a well-known figure in Hollywood. He began his career as a mailroom boy for a television studio and has now progressed to become a producer and director for many of the shows we like watching on television. Everybody Loves Raymond, Murphy Brown, Roseanne, and Who Wants to be a Millionaire were among the series he helped produce or direct. He is in charge of the careers of 40 prominent Hollywood actors and actresses. Many of his television shows, like as The Cosby Show, have gone down in history as television classics. He has done a lot for the television business as well as Mississippi. In addition to his work, Sam Haskell has established a scholarship foundation in honor of his mother, which is open to children in his hometown who may not be able to attend college but would like to. His mother worked as a school nurse at Amory and was the county's first nurse practitioner. Mr. Haskell welcomes well-known TV and movie stars to Amory every year to assist promote and supporting his scholarship efforts.
